Seal created under the door
Side View
A standard gap under a garage door should be approximately 10mm from the bottom
of the door to the concrete floor. This gap needs sealing.
The Weather Stop is designed to fit under gaps up to 15mm.
The bottom of the door should butt up against the raised hump. This creates a seal to prevent, rain, snow, leaves, dust and dirt
being pushed under the door, keeping
the garage clean and
dry!
Large Gaps
For garage doors with a gap larger than 15mm we recommend the use of a rubber blade
in conjunction with the Weather Stop floor seal.

Rubber Blade
The blade would be riveted or screwed on to the back of the garage door so that
it would bind with the Weather Stop when the door closes.

Level door, unlevel floor creates gaps
In most cases garage floors and industrial unit concrete floors are not level
or flat. When the door is fitted level and the floor is unlevel this causes a problem
with water, dust and dirt being pushed under the gaps where the rubber on the bottom
of the door does not meet the floor. The Weather Stop eradicates this problem by
allowing the door to sit on the flat part of the Weather Stop floor
seal with the hump behind the door. This creates the seal needed under the door to keep your garage or unit clean and dry!
Please note: Doors fitted with remote control systems may need the sensitivity setting
altering if the door bounces when it closes on the rubber floor seal.
