The gap between a garage door and garage floor is usually 10mm (approximately.) This gap needs to be sealed.

The Original Weather Stop Garage Door Floor Seal is designed to seal gaps of up to 15mm.

The bottom of the garage door will rest against the raised hump of the Floor Seal and create a watertight seal preventing, rain, leaves, dust and debris from being blown under the door. This will keep the garage clean and dry and protect equipment and tools from the damaging effects of condensation (i.e. rust.)

The new Industrial Weather Stop Garage Door Floor Seal has a depth of 20mm and is recommend to seal gaps of 15mm or more.

The Weather Stop Garage Door Floor Seal
provides a viable alternative to the fitting of an aqua grid. The latter may prove to be both time consuming and expensive.

Specifically, the Seal eradicates the damaging effects of wind-blown rainwater. It may also prevent rodents from entering the garage.

Garage and concrete floors are often uneven, allowing wind-blown water, leaves, dust and debris to enter the garage.

The Weather Stop Garage Door Floor Seal eradicates the damaging effects of wind-blown rainwater by creating a water-tight seal. The garage door sits comfortably on the flat part of the Seal. The raised part of the seal (see diagram below) rests behind the garage door, creating a watertight barrier that keeps the garage free from wind-blown rainwater, leaves, dust and debris.

Fitting instructions suitable to fit with a manual or automatic up and over, side hinged, roller and sectional garage doors. Preparation Surface must be clean and free from dust, oil or grease. Fitting Weather Stop floor seal on loose concrete or gravel floor is not recommended. Where the surface are painted a wire brush should be used on the area where the floor seal will be fitted. Tools Required Tape measure Hacksaw or sharp scissors Pencil Straight edge Sealant gun		It is important to follow instructions carefully! (Must be fitted by an adult over the age of 18) Work is undertaken at the purchasers own risk. Due care and attention should be paid when stepping over the Weather Stop floor seal at all times.
Step One		Open the garage door and measure the overall width of the top of the opening frame to frame. Then cut the floor seal length to size.
Step Two		Position the floor seal so that when the garage door closes the hump is behind the garage door. Mark with a pencil where the floor seal needs to be notched back. This will allow the floor seal to be positioned correctly behind the door and will create a good seal around the frame. Notch back the floor seal on both ends with a hack saw or sharp scissors.

Step Three		From inside the garage, with the door closed, push the floor seal up to the back of the door with the hump touching the door. Mark along the back edge of the floor seal with a pencil or suitable marker.
Step Four		Open the door and mark a line along the front edge of the floor seal. Remove the floor seal and mark two parallel lines approximately 10mm inside the existing lines. Then mark a zigzag line in the middle of them.
Step Five		Using Fix All High Tack black sealant apply the sealant to the floor following the pencil lines created. Recommended application temperature +5°C to +35°C.
Step Six		Starting from one side, place the floor seal on the sealant and press firmly downwards. Continue along the rest of the seal, ensuring good contact at all points. Remove any excess sealant from the sides with a cloth. Allow 24 hours before driving over the floor seal.
